Eyjafjallajokull volcano erupts...... we almost don't know where the hell Iceland is.....
We arrived in Spain april 15th at 10 am......get our rooms at 11.30 am
Day 16th...........all the 1.000.000
TV in Benidorm are tuned on some soccer game......no news for us.....just a brief spot during a soccer gameDay 17th........... tour in Valencia........desperatly searchin for an internet point..........NOTHING.......back to Benidorm find all flights in Europe are cancelled
Day 18th....... delivery rented car in Airport Alicante..... 8am o.clock take a train to Barcellona ( in rail station terrific scenario) no trains to Italia or To France or to anywhere....h 1 pm get taxi to Perpignan, France.......( a rip off for 2 hours ride...........) in France a strong strike of railway workers enduring.....heheheh...
Informations and buy ticket only by automatic machines ( no cash admitted)......No routes to Italy of course...... and to Paris no sits till april 26th
Buy ticket to a small station on the way to italian border.......at Nimes (Provance) go to Marseille.......spent the night railway station......on board of a parked TGV
Day 19th........From Marseille to Nice.
In Nice no train to Milan or Turin or Genova.only to Ventimiglia..the first small town in Italy after the frontier at 10 am arrived Ventimiglia...no cars to rent.......a long queue row......catched
the train to Milan on movement...... arrived at 3 pm MIlan railway Station.........got a bus to Bergamo airport where is our car parked.......checked all the flight still cancelled..... a fast run in hightway and 7.30 pm we are under the shower after 40 hours without eat and sleepand I am here home sweet (9 pm) home while at least 7.000.000 seven millions of people are grounded among hundreds of european airports
